Third-person survival & shooter science fiction game
Dead Space is a third-person survival game set within the depths of outer space. Players will need to explore forbidding locations, solve a series of technical problems, and confront truly terrifying human-alien hybrids if they ever wish to escape alive.
This latest version is actually an upgrade of the well-received original Dead Space platform. The main difference is that a host of impressive digital and audio effects have been improved. This should provide an even more immersive (and challenging) experience.
A station mysteriously adrift
Players will take on the role of an engineer named Isaac Clarke. He is sent to explore the mining ship USG Ishimura. The fate of its crew is unknown, and yet, it is not long before a series of grisly discoveries come to light.
Coping with the unknown
As an engineer, Isaac is equipped with only a handful of basic tools. He will therefore have to search for resources and rely on his ingenuity in order to survive as well. The character must also learn about the fate of his girlfriend, who is also trapped somewhere in the vessel.
Intense third-person action
Whether exploring sinister environments or coming face to face with a previously unknown alien species, the intense atmosphere offered by Dead Space will certainly keep players on the edge of their seats.
Reimagined from the ground up
While some of the elements within this game can be compared to those associated with Dead Space 2, the developers have made vast improvements. Enhanced audio effects, HD graphics, and nightmarish cut scenes are only a handful of elements that users must endure.
